My Node Has A Mission - August 9-12 2025
Have you ever experienced the sense that there is zero point in doing anything? That life is a lot of effort with little discernible reward. In such a moment you may have noticed that any action collapses the seductive quality of undifferentiated potential into a set of rather unappealing mundane realities. The choice to not choose allows us to feed a fantasy of impossibilities of what will come next. "I do not want to choose - with every choice I am making a sacrifice, with every choice I am loosing some part of what could be." Theoretically if one could just restrain themselves in perpetual stillness and exit time altogether... and this is a thought which is an expression of low grade suicidality. (It is outside of the scope of this larger discussion but I would like to quickly assert that things that direct you towards low grade suicidality is a result of inaccurate conclusions about reality.) As much as our disturbed and distraught character might want to opt out of the world of linear time and it's various constraints - for one reason or another their conscious perception exists within a dimension in which duality is present and the ratio of positive or negative qualities to their three dimensional experience will continue to accrue in apparent correlation with their chosen actions. They will have to take responsibility and cannot opt out. So how should they choose their next step? My advice - prioritize creating an increasingly accurate world model and minimizing the difference between the actions that world model prescribes as ideal and the actions they take in day-to-day life. This describes the function who's output is my chosen mission and corresponding itinerary. Without this protocol my capacity to act in accordance with my highest self interest - as well as my capacity to act at all - would be severely diminished. And in approaching reality in this way, in a context in which it was not required on me by any institution or any society to maintain any worldview of their own, I've determined a set of models for collecting, categorizing, and making use of the data of my day to day experience for this end. It is my intent to write expansively on that topic and distill the ideas down to a clear determinable ethics and theory of magical law & practice. In addition to this, it's important to me to form in person institutions and societies with an analogous mission. Community is not a luxury but a human need and when human needs go unfulfilled human potential is not met. Any community will not do - the community needs to be suited to the individuals True Will and stage of development. Mission is of utmost importance to me. What is a community to me that is without an analogous mission and degree of order and drive? One that is far too frenetic, short lived or aimless for my comfort. I deeply desire every moment of my life to be imbued with the deepest meaning available to me in this existence. And so is my aim to act in a accordance with the metaphysical substrates that enable me to fulfill this endless passion and to feed it with an endless Holy Multipolar Fire. The Network Exists and so Does it Nodes. So may it be. And so it is.
